The premise
Most people think faster than they type. The gap between "I have a thought" and "the thought lives somewhere" is where most personal knowledge gets lost.
Typing Is Boring is a voice-first input layer. You speak, it transcribes with diarization and speaker intent, and it routes the output to the right tool — a note, a task, a Slack message, a doc.
What's shipped
Web + iOS, both wrapped around the same realtime transcription pipeline. Custom punctuation model trained on conversational dictation (the off-the-shelf ones over-comma everything). End-to-end latency from "stop talking" to "text appears" sits at 600ms p50.
Where it's heading
Currently in private beta with ~80 active users. Next quarter: a Mac menubar app and a $19/mo prosumer tier. The longer bet is integrations — every dictation lands in the user's existing tools rather than yet another silo.
